1997 – 2002
The very first logo of XNXX, designed in 1997, featured a modern and confident rectangular banner with stylized lettering in white. The uppercase inscription was set in a smooth serif font with rounded bars, with all the characters but the “N”, colored in solid white. As for the “N”, it was executed in the same trike but had a black body and a white outline.
2002 – 2003
The redesign of 2002 has made the XNXX brighter and friendlier. Now the geometric wordmark was written in juicy yellow against a blue rectangular badge in a thick yellow frame. The inscription had its characters placed slightly diagonally and was underlined by the full name of the website, set in the same palette but in a different sans-serif typeface.
2003 – 2004
In 2003 the XNXX logo was redrawn in a rainbow color palette, with the colorful characters set against a plain blue background. The massive “XNXX” was set in a minimalistic geometric sans-serif typeface with the extended characters set at a significant distance from each other. The multicolor wordmark was underlined by a delicate white inscription with the complete name of the platform.
2004 – 2005
The redesign of 2004 has introduced another yellow and blue version of the XNXX logo. Now it was a cartoonish uppercase lettering in hand-drawn graffiti-like style with massive characters colored in blue-to-yellow gradients, where the central part of the inscription was bright yellow, and got blue to the sides. This color scheme made the logo look vibrant and intense, creating a feeling of motion.
2005 – now
In 2005 the logo of the website was completely redrawn. The letters of the uppercase wordmark gained volume and gloss, and the typeface was changed to a more modern geometric one, with stable characters, sharp angles, and straight cuts of the bars. As for the color palette, it is now blue and white, with light gradients and smooth transition of the shades.
