In 2009, the Rimac automobile brand was founded in Croatia, specializing in the production of electric vehicles. In 2010, the Rimac Concept One was created, a small sports car equipped with a revolutionary electric motor that develops the equivalent of 1,008 horsepower.

Meaning and History

In 2009, Croatian Mate Rimac converted a BMW 3-series into an electric car, and later he developed the first car of his own, naming it Concept One. The young entrepreneur was supported by Porsche and several other reputable European automakers. This is how the Rimac brand came into being.

The first creation of the Rimac Brand became the fastest electric car in the world, opening a new niche – electric hypercars. The Concept One was only 8 copies with a price of one million dollars.

In 2016, the first concept received an update, which improved dynamics.  Later, the Concept S track version of the legendary car was presented.

In 2018, a completely new car was introduced by the company. It embodies already mastered technologies of the past model and completely new developments. The new model was named Concept_Two.

In 2021, the two luxury car brands Rimac Automobili and Bugatti Automobiles officially announced their merger into one company.

The company logo consists of a shield made of a gray rim, inside of which is a pattern consisting of small rectangles of different shades of gray. In the middle of the shield there is a stylized letter “R”. Under the logo is the name of the company in gray color.
